Trullo della Gioia is a large trullo complex set amongst ancient olive and almond groves in the quiet of the Salento countryside, less than 30 km from Brindisi airport and under an hour’s drive from such unmissable destinations as Lecce with its Baroque art masterpieces or Bari with its stunning mediaeval old town and Romanesque churches. Closer to home, just a few minutes away, is Ostuni, known as the White City and other delightful towns in the Valle D'itria and Alberobello, trulli capital and UNESCO site.

Your trullo is also conveniently located for a trip to the Castellana Caves or the Zoo Safari park in Fasano. Trullo della Gioia is also a fine base for day trips to Santa Maria di Leuca and a return trip up along the Adriatic coast dropping into famous seaside towns such as Castro Marina, Santa Cesarea Terme and Otranto.

Delightfully refurbished, Trullo della Gioia combines the rural charm of its trullo houses with all mod cons, while its big luxuriant garden full of Mediterranean essences makes it the ideal place to relax, whether on the large lawn or by the swimming pool, or else shaded by the pomegranate and orange trees or else under one of the many other fruit trees please help yourself to some delicious organic produce! Other meaningful experiences include picking vegetables straight from the vegetable plot or exploring the surrounding countryside, on foot or by bike, in peaceful harmony with nature. Younger children have a play area specially designed for them, while older ones can enjoy the table tennis table, the bicycles and the large heated pool with its spa bath.

The property can comfortably accommodate 10 people, in its 5 bedrooms – 4 of which are doubles plus one twin – 5 bathrooms (one per bedroom), living room with table and chairs, a functional kitchen and a heated outdoor shower. The patio is furnished with tables, chairs and deckchairs, there is WiFi internet coverage, washing machine, dishwasher, air conditioning and underfloor heating, satellite TV and barbecue complete the range of indoor and outdoor services.

The swimming pool – with its spa bath and night lighting – is also heated during mid-season.
