Limo

A holiday home with an ancient soul: Limo is a stone house carved into the rock by our ancestors’ expert hands. Anna and Costanzo have renovated it, bringing in the amenities needed for a comfortable and nature-friendly holiday. It can accommodate 2-6 people.

The rooms you will be staying in are immersed in a wonderful natural environment, in a totally unique location. When people ask us to talk about this magical place, we like to say “... when you wake up in the morning, the first thing you notice is a sea of Green spreading out before you, a plain of ancient olive groves, and beyond that the sea of Blue, the Adriatic, that changes colour every morning, depending on the winds caressing it or sometimes even whipping it up ...” Behind Limo, the terraced hills, which slope down from the Itria Valley – amid Mediterranean maquis, olives and almond trees – and embrace you in their gentle evening breeze.

THE SURROUNDINGS

We’re halfway between the sea and the Itria Valley, which makes every season a fascinating blend of countryside and sea, of nature and culture, art and tradition, enabling you to discover all of the surprising wealth of this outstanding area, and of Puglia in general: from the famous natural attractions such as the Castellana Caves and the safari park in Fasano, to the enchanting old cities of Ostuni, Alberobello and the other towns of the Itria valley, to the great medieval monuments of Bari, Castel del Monte, and Trani, not to mention the Baroque treasures of Lecce and Martina Franca. Nor should we forget the treasures of the local food and wine, which can be enjoyed everywhere – especially at one of the many sagre,  the country fairs that still mark the alternation of the seasons and the profoundly religious spirit of these lands.

Lamia di Tara

This old stone house, masterfully placed on a large terrace of natural rock, is made up of four rooms with high vaulted ceilings, which can comfortably accommodate four people. The accommodation consists of a kitchen, a dining/living room, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, and a shower room. Outside is a dining area beneath the shade of an ancient olive tree and a lounge area with sofas, loungers and coffee tables, in the shade of a large portico.

Casa di Maria

This house built entirely out of local stone is ideal for a couple. The characteristic interiors include a large kitchen with an alcove, leading through into the intimate double bedroom. This delightful area also includes a shower room. Outside is a pergola draped with vines which is ideal for al fresco meals.

Services

Also available to guests are a barbecue and pizza oven, and an aperitif corner under the olive trees. Cleaner with weekly change of linen; more frequent house cleaning and linen change can be arranged. High chair, cot and children’s toys. Two mountain bikes are available to guests.
