Il Trullo ad Ostuni is an ideal historic dwelling for a stay in Valle d’Itria, with its charm and excellent position, just a few minutes outside the white city of Ostuni.

The residence is made up of 2 original cones and one lamia dating back to the early 1800s. They have been restored conservatively and extended, and now offer all of the modern amenities that ensure comfort and well-being to their inhabitants.

The restoration was truly masterful, stripping the structure back to the original bare stone. All of the refurbishment and new building works were carried out with the utmost respect both for traditions and for modern standards, using local materials such as timber, tufa and stone.

The two cones hold a spacious double bedroom and a walk-in wardrobe that connects the corridor and the sleeping area.

The existing Lamia, entirely built out of stone, has been restored with a beautiful barrel vault and houses a kitchen with dishwasher, extendable table for 4-6 people and a comfortable double sofa bed.

In the extension, all in bare tufa with stone floors, a passageway connects the various rooms, including a spacious bathroom with shower and a second double bedroom.

Lovely views of the grounds with well-tended olive trees, as well as the beautiful swimming pool, can be had from the living area, fronted by a large patio resting on tufa columns, which is a perfect place to relax or dine comfortably in the cool of the evening air.

A few metres from the property, nestled among the olive trees, is a 10 x 4 metre swimming pool with broad steps leading down into it and a large sunbathing area, designed for relaxing times even with little ones. The saltwater swimming pool is chlorine-free, ideal for spending long hours soaking in it without any risk of allergies or losing your precious tan.

Close to the swimming pool is a practical shower in tufa stone.

The grounds of Trullo ad Ostuni are fenced, and contain a gorgeous grove of olive and almond trees. The olive grove has 113 plants, a dozen of which are 200-300 years old, while the almond grove has 96 trees plus a number of fig and pear trees.
